To my little sisters and brothers of Horac Nepal.
If I could I would give you the sun, the moon, and all the stars. I would give you seeds to grow, clean water, and fresh air. I wish I can give you inner peace and wild dreams to chase. I will give you my heart, forever.
It all started back in 2014 when I traveled to Nepal för the first time and go totally blown away by the culture, the feeling, and the energy there. I immediately realized that this journey will somehow change my life.
During my 6 weeks in Kathmandu, I got to know these magical children at the orphanage Horac in Nepal. HORAC stands for Home Of Rescue and Afflicted Children and is a truly good place where children get all the love and opportunities they need to get a fair chance in life. They provide with a family feeling, nutritious food, schooling, and the tools they need to reach their future dreams.
After 2014 I've been back to Nepal in 2017 & 2018 to visit and learn more about how I as a global sister and brand can be a help for the development of the orphanage. In Nepal, I’ve understood how it’s all connected, how our lifestyles back in Sweden are in so many ways connected to climate change and the developments of societies on the other side of the world. That is also when I realized that I cannot go back to a lifestyle that I know is hurting the environment and other people. From that day on I became dedicated to having a positive impact on these children’s lives and learn more about what that means to them.
Education is what the children’s manager, as well as the global leaders, find is key investments for sustainable development. Not only for children’s security but also for us to learn about our global impact. That’s why a percentage of North & Beyond profits will go to the children at Horac Nepal and secure their school fees, and I will always use my voice to talk about them and educate other people on the hidden effects of our lifestyles.

"Everyone wants a magical solution to their problems but everyone refuses to believe in magic. We don’t refuse. The saddest stories are the ones never told, the ones who are lost, the ones who didn’t get the chance to inspire. We will show you magic. The magic of sisterhood, of change. The magic of opportunities and dreams.
Good planets are hard to find. Let’s save it together, it’s the only planet with magic."
